NAPCRG members can enjoy access to our Mentor Match program! If you’re ready to connect with a mentor, join today by becoming a member or purchase a mentee pass (beginning in November) to get started.

Welcome! The NAPCRG Mentor Match program demonstrates our commitment to supporting your growth and professional development. This unique online networking and career-building resource helps you connect, share experiences, and learn from others—whether they are in your own city or across the globe.

The Mentor Match program launched on September 25, 2025. As we continue to expand our pool of mentors, please know that matches may take a little time. Building a diverse pool of mentors is essential to ensuring each mentee connects with the right mentor. Thank you for being part of this growing community!

Joining Mentor Match is simple: just follow four easy steps to apply.

START

Complete your NAPCRG profile. Keep your contact information up to date, add a recent professional photo, and share more about yourself in your bio. You can even import your education and career history from LinkedIn to make things quick and easy. The more complete your profile, the better your chances of being matched with the right mentor or mentee.

Once you’re all set, come back to this page and move on to Step 2 (Enroll).

ENROLL

Are you looking to be a mentor or mentee? Perhaps both? Sign up below: 

  •   Enroll as a Mentor
  •   Enroll as a Mentee

Set your preferences by selecting from each of the program demographics, which include topics, venue, specialties, career stage, and start/end date. Please note that some fields are required to complete enrollment. The more details you share, the easier it will be to create the best possible match. And remember that enrollment is required before you can request a mentor or mentee.

SEARCH

Use the Mentor Program Directory to input your search criteria. Start by selecting the topic(s) of interest which include: 

  •   Acute and Chronic Conditions
  •   Research Methodology and Approaches 
  •   Health Systems, Delivery, and Policy 
  •   Behavioral and Social
  •   Population Health and public health 
  •   Prevention, Screening, and Health Promotion

You can also take advantage of features to help you find and recruit matches: 

  •   Track your mentoring relationships
  •   Participate in discussion forums on mentoring topics
  •   Search for helpful mentoring resources 

CONNECT

Congratulations! You’ve completed Steps 1–3 and are now ready for the exciting part: finding your match! Let the mentoring journey begin!

You can run a single search or explore with multiple searches. Not sure what criteria to use? Simply select “Search for ALL of the selected values” and let the Mentor Program Directory do the work for you, delivering tailored results.

Next, click on the name of the member you’re interested in connecting with. This will take you to their profile page, where you can explore their background in more detail. If you feel they’re a good fit, look for the Mentor Match badge beneath their profile photo. Clicking it will allow you to request a connection. If the profile doesn’t feel like the right match, simply use the back button to return to your search results and continue exploring.
